Everyone in your home comes in their own way. Pick a method to see it work.
Face, palm vein, PIN, temporary PIN, the Tuya Smart app and a mechanical key, in one slim lock.
Just look. Enroll your face from 12–47 in (30–120 cm) away; about 20 in (50 cm) is best.
Raise your palm. Venix reads the vein pattern under the skin. Enroll 4–12 in (10–30 cm) away; 6–10 in is best.
Everyone gets their own 6–10 digit PIN, with up to 50 PINs in total.
Set a temporary PIN in the Tuya Smart app for guests, cleaners and dog walkers. Change guests, not locks.

Before you buy
Will it fit your door?
Venix fits doors 1.38–2.17 in (35–55 mm) thick with a 2⅜ or 2¾ in (60 or 70 mm) backset. The 2⅛ in (54 mm) locator comes fitted and a 1½ in (38 mm) spare is in the box.
On a door already prepared for a standard deadbolt it fits in six steps. New doors need drilling, and the cutout drawing is in the box. Not sure? Send us photos of your door and we'll help.

Does the visitor see me?
No. Your visitor hears you through Venix; Venix has no screen. You see them on a live 720p video call in the Tuya Smart app.
How many face and palm profiles can I add?
Venix stores 50 biometric profiles in total, shared between face and palm vein.
Can I give visitors a temporary code?
Yes. Permanent and temporary PINs share a total capacity of 50 passcodes. PINs can be 6–10 digits long.
Which app does Venix use?
Venix uses Tuya Smart. App remote unlocking and connected video functions require the device to be set up and online on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Does Venix lock automatically?
You can enable or disable automatic relocking and set a delay of 5–99 seconds after unlocking. Venix retracts the deadbolt when you authenticate; you operate the separate handle to open the door.
What happens if the battery runs out?
The USB-C port at the bottom supplies emergency power. Use a supported unlocking method after connecting power, or use the mechanical key. Emergency power is not an unlocking method by itself.
Is cloud recording included?
Cloud video storage is supported through Tuya. Availability, retention and any charges depend on the current service in your region. Check the app for current US options.
Does it work with HomeKit, Matter, fingerprint or NFC?
Venix does not support Apple HomeKit, Matter, fingerprint, RFID or NFC unlocking. Alexa and Google Assistant operation in the US has not been verified; contact us if voice control is essential.
Will it fit my door?
Check door thickness, backset, existing preparation and panel clearance before ordering. A separate passage or latch handle is required and is not included. Existing compatible preparation may be reused; fresh installations require drilling.
